Why Use Metadata?
To put it simply: Metadata is like a detailed archive, storing various descriptions and photos to comprehensively summarize its subject. In some cases, distinguishing files by their names is sufficient. However, compared to the limited length and dimensions of filenames, metadata allows for the inclusion of far more information across various types.
This release focuses on iXML and ID3; iXML is text-only, while ID3 can handle images. These two methods are sufficient for nearly all situations. The metadata tags that can be filled in are presently limited, but more options will be available in the future.
Since iXML and ID3 are open standards, data written by wxTagger can be read by other audio metadata editors and sample managers, such as Mp3tag. For best compatibility, ID3 data is written in version 2.3 format.
Contact
wxTagger is still in its early stages. If you have any suggestions about its functionality or workflow, feel free to let me know.
If you encounter any bugs, please describe the specific issue so I can reproduce them. If possible, attaching samples that wxTagger fails to process correctly will help me address the issue more accurately.

NOTE
* The Windows version of wxTagger may require "Run as Administrator" for the first run.
* Audio files generated by wxTagger are saved in a new "Output" folder in the current directory to avoid overwriting original files. This cannot be changed now, but future versions will offer more options.
